Meanwhile, Azelis Group NV claimed the Sensory Bar gold for its innovative Sensory Boost, with Chemyunion and Givaudan Active Beauty rounding out the podium positions.

Amazon's Late Entry into TikTok Acquisition Talks Sparks Debate

Amazon made a last-minute bid to acquire TikTok's US operations before the initial April 5 deadline, submitting a letter to US officials as they considered forcing ByteDance to divest its US business. Other contenders included AppLovin, Perplexity AI, and a group led by Frank McCourt and Alexis Ohanian. However, negotiations faced hurdles due to new tariffs on Chinese goods, leading to an extension of the deadline by Trump. The delay highlights escalating US-China trade tensions complicating the sale. Despite Amazon's unexpected interest, partly driven by TikTok Shop’s e-commerce potential, its bid is considered unlikely to progress.
